Second Amendment Rights

Dad gave me my first gun when I was about ten. Having guns around the farm was a way of life.

The Second Amendment gives us the right to own a gun whether for hunting, collecting, or personal protection.

I support a Castle Doctrine law because you have a right to protect your home from intruders.

In 2023, I voted for LB77, which established Constitutional Carry in Nebraska because I believe you should be able to carry a gun without getting a permission slip from the government.

In the Legislature, I have always, and will always, defend the Second Amendment.

Property Taxes and Education Funding

Property taxes continue to squeeze Nebraska farmers, families, manufacturers and seniors.

In neighboring Kansas and Iowa the state funds a bigger share of the cost of public schools than Nebraska.

It is time to increase the state share of funding for public schools … and reduce the over-reliance on property taxes to fund education.

In 2024, I voted for LB34, which allows taxpayers to receive a direct credit on their property tax statements for school district taxes and ensures the credit increases annually and grows with the economy

There is a lot more work to be done and I continue to fight every day to reduce property taxes.

Right to Life

I am Prolife.

I believe life begins at conception.

I will always oppose using your tax dollars for abortion.

In 2023, I voted for LB626, the Nebraska Heartbeat Act, which bans abortion as soon as a fetal heartbeat is detected.

In the Legislature, I have and always will vote to protect innocent life.

Protecting our Kids

I believe our kids are our future and they must be protected from radical agendas.

I strongly oppose making our daughters and granddaughters share locker rooms and restrooms with biological males.

In 2023, I voted for LB 574, the Let Them Grow Act, which outlaws children from undergoing gender altering surgeries.

In 2025, I voted for LB89, the Stand with Women Act, which keeps biological males out of women’s sports.

In the Legislature, I have and always will vote to protect our kids.

Supporting out Veterans and First Responders

Our veterans and first responders are heroes — and they should be treated as such

In 2023, I introduced LB52, which eliminated the limitation on the amount of tuition credits available to Nebraska National Guard members

As a member of the Apprpriations Committee, I have consistently fought to ensure law enforcement and first responders receive the funding they need to keep us safe.

In the Legislature, I have and always will stand with our veterans and first responders.

Secure our Elections

Safe and Secure elections are a hallmark of our great nation.

In 2023, I voted for LB514 which requires Voter ID in Nebraska

In 2025, I spearheaded the effort to return Nebraska to Winner-Take-All, an effort I will continue to pursue.

In the Legislature, I have and always will vote to ensure the security and sanctity of our elections.
